Path of Exile's next expansion pack, called Siege of the Atlas, will once again change the way players progress through endgame content when it releases next month. The expansion introduces two new Eldritch Horrors, who will attempt to invade Atlas alongside The Maven and Uber Elder. Players need to collect as much POE Currency as possible while challenging missions.

It sounds like players will be working with The Maven in some way as she will allow us to modify the map under the influence of these new Eldritch Horrors. As the player progresses through the low-level affected maps, more affected monsters will appear, and once the player enters the mid-level map, they will encounter sub-bosses of each of these terrifying horrors. These bosses must be defeated before players can encounter The Searing Exarch or The Eater of Worlds, which will eventually appear in high-level affected maps.
